The Student Affiliate, Marist Chapter, provides an environment for science majors to become acquainted and to socialize in
an atmosphere that is stress-free. In addition this club encourages the development of strong faculty-student relationships
through mutual involvement in social endeavors throughout each academic year. Science majors have a very rigid and demanding
academic schedule, and often need a chance to relax and unwind in the company of those who both understand and have experienced
such an academic life. The Student Affiliate of the American Chemical Society, Marist Chapter, does just that.
Our Mission
The Student Affiliate of the American Society, Marist Chapter searches to familiarize science students, specifically chemistry
majors, with one another and to enable each student to branch out and discover the world of chemistry past the classroom.
In addition the Student Affiliate serves to couple academic endeavors and social events so as to provide a well-balanced environment
for dedicated students.
